  • 125g/4oz rindless streaky bacon rashers,
  • 375g/12oz chicken livers, trimmed,
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil.

Cut each rasher of bacon into 2 pieces, crossways so you end up with short wide pieces of bacon; wrap a piece around each chicken liver and secure in position with a wooden cocktail stick. Thread the bacon-wrapped livers on to skewers. Brush with oil and cook under a preheated grill or barbeque for 5 minutes on each side.
